First Mare Pronounced in Foal to Thorn Song
COALINGA, CA March 31, 2011-The first mare bred to dual grade I winner Thorn Song (Unbridled’s Song out of Festal, by Storm Bird) was scanned and believed to be in foal at John Harris’ farm near Coalinga, CA. The mare, Clouds of Glory (Beau Genius out of Vaderette, by Skywalker), is a half-sister to two stakes winners, Super Tuesday and Vaderator, and 8 other winners.
Thorn Song will be bred to a group of high quality mares in 2011 including:
Grade I winner Alphabet Kisses
Freedom Dance, dam of Grade I winner Cost of Freedom ($879,983)
Scare Tactics, dam of stakes winners Green Team ($620,827) and Spot the Diplomat ($342,231)
