Unusual Heat's Acclamation Repeats in Murray

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (May 14, 2011) – Exploding turning for home, California-bred Acclamation successfully defended his title with a seven-length win in Saturday’s $150,000 Grade II Jim Murray Handicap at Hollywood Park.

Acclamation is by Unusual Heat, out of the Silveyville mare Winning in Style, was bred by Old English Rancho, is owned by E.W. and Judy Johnston and trained by Donald Warren.

The Grade I winner has five wins in 24 starts, earnings of $608,048 and was coming off a 10th in the Colonial Classic. He ran the 1 miles on turf in 2:25.63 as the 9-5 favorite.
