Assemblyman Herb Wesson (D-LA), the Chairman of the Assembly Governmental Organization Committee which oversees all racing legislation, visited Harris Farms. Bob Fox (left), the CTBA's Legislative Advocate, also was  seen at the farm.

Peter and Grainne Hill with their daughters, Alannah and Cassie on a recent visit to the Harris Farms-Horse Division.Peter Hill, a California native whose permanent home is now in Ireland, is a consultant to the Korea Racing Association.  Racing is very popular in Korea and the Seoul Racecourse which only races on weekends pays out some of the highest purses in the world.

California State Senator Kevin Murray (D-Los Angeles) was a recent visitor to Harris Farms.   He is shown with Robyn Black, former President of California Women for Agriculture, Raul Rosas, Harris Stallion Manager, John Harris, and John Deeter's recent foal by In Excess-Misterioso.

to discuss several legislative issues. Assembly Florez
is the newly elected representative of the 30th Assembly District which includes parts of Fresno, Kings, Kern, and Madera counties.
