won Monday’s $50,498 Group I Grande Premio Ipiranga.
Real Secret ran the mile on soft turf in 1:36.14 and won by one-half length for

Yesterday my blog was about the young guns Medaglia d’Oro and Tapit...
Finally, one last stallion I want to briefly
mention from this group is Brazilian-bred Redattore, who stands for only $4,000
in California at Harris Farms. Redattore shuttles to Brazil for the Southern
Hemisphere seasons. This son of Roi Normand is on fire in Brazil with his first
crop of 2-year-olds last year, and collectively has 7 SWs with 6 of them graded!
CROXIE wins an allowance race at Golden Gate Fields May 30th. She now has three wins and and has earned over $76,000. Croxie was bred by Harris Farms and is out of the Moscow Ballet mare Donna B. Quick.

California shuttle stallion Redattore, won Sunday’s $82,166 Group I Grande
Premio Presidente da Republica-Luiz Inacio da Silva at Cicade Jardim.
April 24,
2009--Compari, coming off a maiden win and making only his third
career start, scored a convincing victory in the $250,000 Snow Chief
Stakes for California-bred 3-year-olds, the feature race on Saturday’s
Gold Rush X card at Hollywood Park.
Compari is the first North American stakes winner by the shuttle stallion Redattore. Compari is out of the Dixieland Band mare Southern Charm, was bred by owners Harris Farms, Don Valpredo and John Nicoletti, was foaled at Harris Farms, ridden by Garrett Gomez and is trained by Martin Jones.
He was coming off his maiden breaker on turf in his second start March 29 and his earnings jumped Saturday from $33,000 to $183,000. He ran the 1 1/8 miles in 1:48.63 at odds of 5-1.

CIDADE JARDIM, Brazil (Apr. 19, 2009)-- Kapo Di Tutti, a Brazilian-bred son of California shuttle stallion Redattore, won Saturday’s $18,885 Group III Grande Premio Presidente Antonio T. de Assumpcao Netto and Cidade Jardim.

3/4 lengths going a flat mile on the Santa Anita turf course and earned $27,600.

Notavel Surena, a Brazilian-bred daughter of California shuttle stallion
Redattore, won January 25th's $17,515 Group II Gran
Premio 25 de Jenero for fillies and mares. Notavel Surena won by 7 ½ lengths and
ran the 1 ¼ miles in 2:04.95.
Al Arab, a Brazilian-bred son of
California shuttle stallion Redattore, won Sunday’s $19,879 Group III Grande
Premio Natal. Al Arab ran the 1900 meters in 1:56.12 on a sloppy track and won
by 1 ¼ lengths.
Tango Uno Represents

CURITIBA, Brazil (Dec. 8, 2008) -- California shuttle stallion Redattore
was represented by a Group I winner Sunday when Tango Uno won the $20,204 Grande
Premio Parana at Taruma.
Tango Uno, a 3-year-old colt, ran the 2,400 meters in 2:36.02 and won by two lengths.
Crestatorre (above) is the 2007 colt by Redattore, the reigning leading Freshman
Sire in Brazil and out of the beautiful Avenida la Cresta, owned by the Richard
and Pat Keeline.
October 3, 2008 Redattore sire of Golden Gate juvenile winner Then Play On who broke his maiden in his second lifetime start. This 1 1/4 length winner is a Cal-bred and is out of the Desert Classic mare, Ms. Native Classic and was bred by Goessler & Johnson.

Davignon, a 3-y-o by Redattore won the GP.Costa Ferraz, a grade 3 stakes held
over 1600 meters, turf, on Sunday, at Gavea Racetrack in Rio de Janeiro.
Davignon who is out of the Brazilian mare Darcy [O Maior], became the second
graded stakes winner for Redattore. He is due to race next on Sep.7th, in the
GP.Ipiranga [G1 – 1600 meters, turf], the first leg of the triple crown to be
held in São Paulos’s Hipodromo Paulistano.
Finally, Estrela do Oriente, the grade 1 winners he has sired, was exported to France where he will be trained by Pascal Bary for owner Stephan Friborg.
